It a bird, it’s a plane…

It’s a superman hat! I don’t so many boy hats so I wanted to make sure Sahil’s hat was soo freaking cool. According to his dad (important to get the male perspective) it rocked!

Someone is 4!!

My little girl is growing up. Sniff. Little Miss PaperCuts turned 4 a while back. I had to make her something grown up. So I made her a top hat with her favorite color, pink and yellow. It was a hit.

Candyland !!

Who doesn’t love candyland!  Such a fun theme for a 2nd birthday.  This banner was so colorful and fun it made me want to drag out my board game to play with the kids.

And of course the birthday girl needed a hat. The customer wanted something a little different for this wacky party so we made a little top hat. I was so cute!

Butterflies and Cherry Blossoms

Little Miss PaperCuts gets offended if I brag on the little mister and don’t include here. So I must show off her suite also.  I just love the paint job and color scheme.  I think it’s the perfect little girls room.

Stepping out of the "paper" box: On to the box

I saw this tutorial all over the internet so I had to try it out.  It was super easy.

  1. Take an empty box, I have a ton diaper boxes so  I used those.
  2. Get some cool fabric.  I just loved this chevron pattern. I used green also to tie into the room.
  3. Grab some adhesive. I used a combination of fabric take (amazing stuff) and spray glue.
  4. Then simply cut your fabric to fit around the box, line the edges with fabric tape, spray the sides with glue and smooth on.

Easy peasy. I, also, lined the inside of the box since he would be using it was a toy box. I love how it came out.

Planes, Train, Automobiles! Part 2

This mobile was a gift from some really sweet neighbors.  The colors didn’t match his theme so I simple recovered them using …VINYL!!! God I love that stuff.

There were so many pictures I had been drooling over on etsy. Since I couldn’t decide, I designed my own. Then pop them in some colorful frames from Ikea.

And my biggest brag. My pull out changing station. Little Mister PaperCuts room is tiny so there was no room for a station so I made my own in his Ikea wardrobe.  It slides in and out as needed.

The curtains are cheap white curtains from target. I simply added the orange ribbon using fabric tape really revolutionary stuff.
